Case study
Wonder, with control over attention
An atmospheric room that leaves the reader in charge.
The design question.
How can a digital reading space feel imaginative without making animation a condition of using it?
The working experience.
The generated library-observatory begins still. Visitors can enable the changing light or remove the atmosphere entirely. Motion honours reduced-motion settings and pauses when the scene is out of view. The book record, related titles and mathematical study remain distinct parts of the page.
What can be checked.
The book record is bibliographic. Related titles disclose their author/category basis. The geometric study displays its formula and supports a manual viewing angle. The surrounding architecture and sky are explicitly imagined.
These are inspectable design choices, not evidence of a clinical or cognitive benefit. Physical-device and assistive-technology experience still benefit from reader feedback.
