The dog behind the name.

I named my company after my dog, Anavi.
It began during one of the hardest periods of my life.
After I medically separated from the Army, I was trying to understand what came next. My dad had just died, and grief had narrowed the world considerably.
I started building Anavi because I wanted to keep imagining what might still be possible — and because I hoped that, eventually, I could make things that helped other people.
The work gave my mind somewhere to go. Questions became research. Research became prototypes. Prototypes became tools.
Building did not erase grief. But it became part of how I learned to move with it.
Eventually, that became a company.
